Engaging in Zen Meditation, Tea Ceremony, Life-Path Divination, focused Satsang (Spiritual Discourse), Music/Sound Healing, Intuitive Insight, and (depending upon each client’s needs) natural entheogenic compounds, people receive the Gifts of their own Inner Communication, transmuting and transforming traumas and suffering into a sense of Oneness and profound Beauty. This quiet, peaceful Nature setting is an organic healing sanctuary. All this supports ultimate relaxation and full nervous-system-reset. As a central theme, MJ helps clients either begin (or refine) a Daily Meditation & Spiritual Practice based upon breathing, posture, and meditation techniques.
LOCATION Located at JADE VALLEY, a Nature Sanctuary in Nevada City and center for Zen & Tea Culture, the property is near the end of a private dead end road, and backs up to a year-round creek surrounded by wilderness. It’s roughly 12 acres of gentle, easy terrain, and the creekside areas are private and pristine. It feels as though it’s far away, but the property is only a few minutes from town. The accommodations are simple yet elegant, filled with Asian antiques, in a stand-alone building with floor space for yoga, a kitchenette, bathroom, and dining space.
ABOUT MJ GREENMOUNTAIN MJ has 35 years of extensive, diverse training, decades of world travel/cultural immersion, and miraculous Life Experiences. He’s been a daily Zen & Tea practitioner since the late 90’s, and has received several special transmissions from Elders, Masters and Profound Teachers from around the World. He combines this all with Deep Listening and an intuitive read of the moment to humbly assist with each client’s unique needs for their own healing process. He does not pontificate nor tell others “what to do”, rather leads people to discover their own Inner Guidance. He has been called a “master”, a “shaman”, and “healer” and so on by many of his friends and clients.

Working with MJ has changed my life. When I first met him I just gotten out of a psychiatric ward and was completely hopeless about my future. After working together - twice - my life flipped 180 and I found the part of myself that I was looking for. I started working on deep breathing techniques with MJ and now have turned meditation into a daily practice. I have a newfound will to live and learn, and a hope for the future. He came to me at a time when he was taking Adarall daily (for years!), self-administering Ketamine 3 times a week, taking lots of other party drugs regularly, and having a hard time maintaining a semblance of purpose and focus in Life. My retreat at the peaceful Jade Valley Private Retreat Center led me on a path of light to the tree of wisdom and knowledge.
