Dear Communitea,

We are grateful to everyone who donated to the Gofundme campaign set up for us, and for those who came to our aid directly after the flood. The Universe works in mysterious ways, and it seems there are great things ahead for Jade Valley and - eventually - the future Jade Summit location(s).

OUR STOREFRONT WAS CLOSED in JANUARY 2017 DUE TO SEVERE FLOODING. WE HAVE BEEN UNDERGOING A MAJOR TRANSFORMATION OVER THE PAST YEAR.  PRIVATE TEA CEREMONIES & RETREATS, AND IN-PERSON SALES OF TEA AND ANTIQUES ARE NOW FOCUSED AT OUR PRIVATE LOCATION - JADE VALLEY - JUST 10 MINUTES FROM DOWNTOWN NEVADA CITY, 5 MINUTES FROM THE LOCAL FOOD CO-OP.

• Online Tea Orders can be fulfilled; we still have a great selection of amazing Tea, with an emphasis on Puerh, and organic high-end Tea from Japan, Taiwan, and China.  We travel yearly to Asia to source directly from farmers who adhere to the highest quality standards. Online selection is merely a sampling and onlyrepresents part of our collection.  Please inquire for any specific needs or questions.

*Antique furniture, ceramics, scroll paintings, etc. are still available for viewing and purchase - by appointment only.  This is a carefully curated collection, and a rare chance to connect with real treasures worth investing in.

JADE VALLEY TEA ARTS

We are developing Jade Valley as a major cultural asset for the community.  It's a breathtakingly beautiful space very close to town, where we have already been hosting events, mini & overnight retreats, workshops, tea classes and Japanese culinary arts classes - all with great success. With a stand-alone Teahouse, a year-round rushing stream, Asian inspired architecture and park-like setting, it's an ideal location for developing our School of Classical Tea Arts and our historic Tea Plantation - with hundreds of tea plants already growing on-site.
